12 botanical specimens from an important 18th century French Herbier

Unlike the larger format of the 1779/80 Herbier, these specimens are not dated and though part of the same collection they are most probably older. Watermarks on the paper date back as far as 1741, so it probable that they were collected somewhere between 1740 and 1780.

Each measures 46 x 33 cm (framed)

Set covers c.150 x 150 cm (with 5cm gap between pictures)
